Our Story
Growing up in Houston (H-town), Unk & Nephew reconnected through Facebook after being separated for over a decade and a half due to family obstacles. As they began sharing stories from their unique separate journeys, they quickly recognized similar inherited traits. Inspired by one another, they agreed to set plans to make their last name mean something beyond the trap of Greenspoint.
John Nelson, a.k.a Unk, joined the Navy, traveled the world, and became a highly trained Field Combat Medic and an Executive Protection for VIPs. Dommonic Nelson, a.k.a. Nephew, graduated from Texas Southern University and made headway into the business industry as a tech visionary and product developer.
John relocated to North Carolina, where he lives with his wife, Shanté, a record-breaker educator with the largest Special Education achievement gap closure in the United States,
and completes the united triad. The Nelson's collaborated on a notion to create a beverage that initiates action, innovation, and authenticity.
They take pride in shifting the focus from providing a drink that reduces fatigue levels to a lifestyle beverage associated with elevation to a higher self-managing status as one who would have come from the rags to riches tale.
The lifestyle boost drink is only for the honest, integral, innovative, creative, and self-motivators; at work, school, social events, clubs, and recreations.

Top 50 Award-Winning Tech Entrepreneur in America, collaborating closely with Daymond John from Shark Tank. He holds utility patents, specializing in business and growth strategies. Formerly, an Operations Manager for a billion-dollar autonomous vehicle company. Dom co-owns Traplements, helping produce and market energy, sugar-free, water, and special edition drinks.
Also, together, his significant other and he acquires single-family investment properties in Houston, meticulously renovating them to create Affordable Luxury Homes. They enjoy collaborations and social activities such as Social Darts, go-karting, traveling, and dressing up for exclusive movie premieres!
